Burger RM 30

Farouq, ni kalau kt kedai ni harga burger ni RM 30 tau...

itu la yang hubby was saying biler nak makan burger yang dihidangkan...

why?

because i made my own beef patties uolls...recipe and idea n apa smua dari thepinkstilettos...TQ  for the recipes...

the patties and the dried spices

well...basically to make the patties as below :

Beef Patty Recipe:

(Makes 6 patties)
750g ground beef
1 large onion, minced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Tabasco sauce (or any hot sauce)
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, whisked
1 tsp ground cumin
Salt and black pepper to taste
Cheese slices


Basically u just add everything je..then buat trus jadi patty...i ltk extra breadcrumbs yang entah effect ke sbb biler i baked dia mengecut.

after dah bake for 10mins gitu, i letak slice of cheese n bake another 5 minits...owhh before bake, i cook patties each side until browned...



tu yang nampak patty kecik dari roti...and daging dia jadi menebal..adakah sbb dia x di sejuk bekukan sbb tu dia jadi mcm tu? entah la...nanti i try bake yang dh difrozenkan plk...banyak tu dapat dengan 750gm ground beef kan...

mcm biasa hubby yang perut kecik, sebab makan roasted potatoes n carrots tu banyak..dia xlarat habiskan patty tu...so i made size kecik utk farouq, dia dah habiskan dia pya portion...then perabiskan yang babah dia pya jgk...

siap buat sauteed mushroom tu...yummylicious...boleh tak berdebar nak masak those roasted potatoes &carrots n sauted mushroom itu...yang roasted tu pheww...ada la jgk 40mins (last 10mins i masak/masukkan skali ngan beef patties dlm oven)..sbb nak make sure kentang tu masak...lastly dia masak n crunchy..hubby macam suka but i macam kureng....HAHAHA...but rasa dia ok, menyerap je segala rempah ratus...tp agak dry kenapa ek? lenkali nak try grill plk la...huhu...

Sauteed Garlic Mushroom:

Mushroom
Olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
Salt &pepper to taste

Roasted potatoes and baby carrots:

Just coat the potatoes and baby carrots in olive oil, salt, black pepper, dried rosemary, dried thyme, dried basil, dried oregano… and roast in the oven for 20-30 minutes.

Next nanti nak buat grilled salmon and sauted garlic asparagus plk...aritu beria dh beli asparagus, but since dh buat mushroom itu..kita lupakan je asparagus...

Ingredients for Grilled Salmon:

2-3 salmon fillets

Garlic powder
Salt
Black pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp olive oil

Season both sides of salmon fillets with salt, black pepper and garlic powder.


In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, water and olive oil. Stir.


Pour the marinade mixture over the salmon, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.


Preheat grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Place salmon fillets on the grill pan and cook on both sides until they flake easily (doesn’t take long to cook). Transfer onto plates.
